Biography:
Julie is a lifelong athlete. She played volleyball and softball in high school and went on to play club volleyball at Western Michigan University. She later transferred to Austin Peay State University and continued her studies in education with a focus on early childhood development.
Prior to joining Oak Valley, Julie coached several teams through Huron Valley Recreation leagues and MOJO Volleyball Club. She is excited lead Oak Valley's 8th grade team through a successful season!
Julie finds that when "having fun" is the core focus of her coaching philosophy, kids are open to playing with integrity, good sportsmanship, and a strong work ethic - all traits that will serve these young athletes well throughout their lives.
